About Winton North Battery

The Winton North Battery Energy Storage System project is a 100-megawatt battery being developed on the same site as Winton North Solar Farm, which is between the townships of Glenrowan and Benalla in northern Victoria. The battery reached financial close in July of 2026 and is expected to come online in winter of 2027.
