Mincha Wind Farm with Battery
We’ll be at Pyramid Hill Community Centre on Wednesday, 29 July. Please join us to discuss the project and provide feedback on the recently released draft project layout (available below). We recommend booking a 30-minute slot to ensure a team member is available or you can also drop in between 8 am and 11 am or 4 pm and 7 pm. Please note that community members with a booking will be prioritised. You can learn more and book a timeslot here.
Mincha Wind Farm with Battery is early in development – the project team is currently undertaking consultation with near neighbours, community members and other local stakeholders. We’re also conducting a range of technical investigations including ecological assessments and other studies. The outcomes of these investigations, along with community input, will play a key role in shaping the project’s design. We expect that Mincha will host 280 megawatts of wind energy generation, with the potential for solar energy generation further down the track.
Please find below the draft layout for the Mincha Wind Farm.
We’d love to hear your feedback on the proposed layout, learn more about your local knowledge, and answer any questions you may have. The project team will be available at the Pyramid Hill Community Centre on Wednesday 29 July for one-on-one discussions with community members.
You’re welcome to drop in and speak with us between 8 am and 11 am or 4 pm and 7 pm. However, as we expect there may be periods of high demand, we encourage you to book a meeting in advance to guarantee time with a member of the project team.
